Wedding Albums § Bellissimo Perfetto

Part of my wedding photography service includes providing my couples with the option to purchase Loxley Colour wedding albums to tell the story of their wedding day. I’ve been offering Loxley Colour albums for quite a while now and I thought it was probably time I gave myself a bit of a kick and put something on my website about them (I’m really terrible at managing my website).

When I first decided I wanted to offer wedding albums I spent a long time reviewing websites and looking at what other photographers had said about their suppliers. In the end though, it all comes down to the wedding albums themselves… Are they any good? Obviously this is pretty hard to measure from a distance, so I ended up visiting a few photography trade shows where suppliers were displaying their albums with this very aim in mind. Picking up a wedding album and feeling; the weight, the subtle texture of the covering and turning the heavy pages with your hands while also being able to see how photographs appear when printed on the pages is really the only way to judge the quality of an album. I wanted to be able to offer my couples great albums and when I handled the Bellissimo Perfetto albums from Loxley Colour I knew I was onto a winner.

So, after looking through the extensive Loxley Colour range, I settled on what I think is the best possible set of products. If you’d like to order a wedding album from me just get in touch and I’ll gladly sort you out a price.

Bellissimo Perfetto Wedding Album:

This is a really beautiful wedding album, the photographs are printed on very heavy stock paper (no flimsy bendy pages here) and due to the quality of Loxley’s printing processes photographs can be printed seamlessly right across the centreline of the page, you won’t even notice it. This means you can really show off your favourite wedding day moments in large format or just have a lovely panoramic view of your wedding venue. Printing is available as standard with a lustre finish or you might want to upgrade for a really eye popping wow inducing result to a special state of the art metallic finish (the results with this paper have to be seen to be believed). Each Bellissimo Perfetto is covered in soft linen fabric available in a wide range of colours so you can match it to your wedding. The Bellissimo Perfetto is available in three different sizes (8×8” – 10×10” – 12×12”) which should cater to everyone’s needs.

12×12: The print quality is amazing, photographs can cross the centreline of the wedding album without you even noticing.

After I decided on Loxley Colour’s Bellissimo Perfetto wedding albums one of my couples asked me about getting some extra smaller albums made up for their parents, Bride’s Maids and Best Woman (yes that’s right, it’s not a typo). So here’s the kicker, when a photographer designs a wedding album it’s all done to fit the dimensions of the physical album (in my case (8×8” – 10×10” – 12×12” and then there are all kinds of spacings and print bleed lines to worry about) so it’s a pretty labour intensive process. When you want a second wedding album in a different size that means the whole design process has to start again from scratch and that costs you money.

So I went back to Loxley Colour and asked them what they thought, they came through for me as they told me they could do duplicate wedding albums for that very purpose and that they offered a special bundle of Perfetto Bellissimo wedding albums containing six downscaled complimenting duplicate albums (I’m sure it is a service they already offered but it makes me feel special to think they started duplicating wedding albums just because I asked). What happens is, I send the album design to Loxley Colour’s technicians and they digitally downscale the whole design to fit within the smaller sized albums. So basically I design your album once but it can be printed in multiple smaller sizes without me doing any extra work… That means I spend more time with my kids and you don’t have to pay me to redesign everything or the print technician to mess around changing his print settings. WIN!
