These are the photographs from Robert Weemes’ & Kate Shears’ wedding, for which I was the wedding photographer recently.
Wow, what an amazing day it turned out to be. For weeks the weather had been; overcast, cold, wet & miserable. Then out of nowhere (or out of the blue as it turns out) BAM! I wake up & there is hardly a cloud in the sky, the Sun is shining down warmly (relatively so, it *is* the UK after all) & there is a general feeling of, “It’s gonna be a wonderful day!” (I did actually break into song, but I saved that for later, during the reception… when nobody could hear me).
Thank you to Kate & Rob for choosing me to photograph your wedding. I am so pleased for you that the day turned out so beautifully. While sunny days bring their own very special photographic difficulties to the party (it’s actually quite normal for photographers to complain about every sort of weather) I hope my photos will serve as a wonderful reminder for you both of your fantastic day.
Kate, you were radiant & Rob, to coin an Australian term, you looked the goods.
